Key Responsibilities
- Personalized Client Assistance: Greet clients and their pets with genuine enthusiasm and recognize them by name, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Anticipate client needs, offering assistance and support throughout their visit. Provide exceptional service and undivided attention. Assist clients with purchases, answer inquiries, and provide directions. Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the client experience are executed flawlessly. Escort clients to their vehicles, ensuring a seamless departure.
- Exam Room Preparation and Room Service: Ensure exam rooms are meticulously prepared, creating a clean and calming environment. Offer thoughtful room service, catering to the comfort of both clients and their pets.
- Administrative Support: Efficiently manage administrative tasks, including responding to emails, monitoring appointment and refill requests in our software, and maintaining accurate records.
- Event Support: Assist with the setup and execution of practice events, contributing to a positive and engaging experience for attendees.

Key Responsibilities
- Seamless Medical Experience: Provide expert assistance to doctors during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for clients and pets.
- Technical Proficiency: Perform essential technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, in-house laboratory work, surgical monitoring, and comprehensive hospitalized patient care. Demonstrate proficiency in safe and gentle animal handling techniques.
- Client Interaction: Gather detailed patient history from clients in exam rooms, effectively communicating information to the doctors. Answer client inquiries and provide clear, compassionate instructions regarding patient care and follow-up.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with doctors to implement treatment plans and provide exceptional patient care.
- After-Hours/Weekend Support: Be available to respond to client texts after hours, providing guidance and support as needed (with appropriate compensation). Provide essential care for hospitalized patients during weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Animal experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn venipuncture, IV catheter placement, in-house laboratory procedures, surgical monitoring, and hospitalized patient care.
- Strong animal handling skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and approachable demeanor.

Hospital Assistant
